No. As of Nov 1 2026 there is no confirmed consensus between Trump and Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei that the war is over. A June MoU briefly paused fighting with Khamenei's conditional approval, but it has since broken down. Talks via Qatar continue and Trump has said the conflict could wrap up soon, yet Khamenei is ordering forces to prepare unrestricted retaliation and Trump is still weighing further strikes.

No. Trump has not declared war against tariffs. He has repeatedly imposed and expanded them since 2025, citing national emergencies over trade deficits, using IEEPA (later struck down), Section 232, 301, and others. He still calls tariffs a key tool for reciprocity and security, even adjusting some recently for political reasons.
