Back in school days, in both houses where I used gen, I gave all my neighbours light.
I couldn't bear the trauma of making noise for them while I enjoyed alone.
So whenever I put on my gen, everyone could close their windows and enjoy their TV/music in peace.
That's the kind of person I am.

Good morning, X family ☀️❤️
Life has taught me that not everyone who starts with you will finish with you, and not everyone who smiles with you wishes you well.
Stay humble, keep working, and never lose yourself trying to impress people.
What life lesson did you learn the hard way? 👇

Today, I experienced one of the scariest journeys of my life. 😭
I set off for the city on a 12-hour journey, boarding a taxi at 3 a.m. Deep in the forest, we encountered heavy rain on a muddy, pothole-filled murram road. The vehicle started sliding from side to side, nearly overturning. We had no choice but to get out and push it to save our lives.
It was pitch-dark, thunder was roaring, and the area was dangerous because elephants sometimes attack people. To make matters worse, the vehicle's differential appeared to be stuck, leaving the wheels spinning without gaining traction.
Communication was another challenge because we spoke different languages and could barely understand each other. We tried to get help from a nearby home about 3 km away, bringing spades and extra manpower, but our efforts failed.
At one point, I used sign language to suggest pushing the vehicle backwards. Three women remained inside out of fear, but the driver lost control, and the vehicle rolled backwards at a terrifying speed. Thankfully, a pothole stopped it before disaster struck. The women immediately got out and joined us in pushing.
We struggled in the rain from 3 a.m. until 7 a.m., when eight more men arrived to help. By then, everyone was covered in mud and soaked to the skin. We kept hoping the rain would stop, but it only got worse. Luckily, I had spare clothes in my bag, so I managed to find somewhere to change.
BAD ROADS! 🚮🚮🚮 How long must people continue risking their lives because of poor roads?
But here's another issue: some passengers refused to pay the full fare at their destination, arguing that they had been overworked pushing the vehicle.
What would you do if you were the driver in this situation? Would you demand the full fare or reduce it because of the ordeal everyone went through? 🤔
