In 2015 David Cameron privatised the National Fostering Agency, it's now being paid £160m a year straight to a New Jersey tax haven to manage the fostering of just 2,616 children
A tax free profit of £61,000 per child, and they don't even provide any care, that's the fosters job

I make Art, with my heart and my hands, In a world where AI can create an image in seconds, I think we need to cherish and clearly distinguish the things that have actually been made by a human being. Because art isnāt simply a picture. Itās the hours nobody sees. The mistakes, Itās everything we have noticed, loved, lost, touched and carried with us through a life.
When I make something, a little piece of me goes into it. Art isnāt an algorithm, Itās a feeling. Itās a life lived.
And, perhaps most importantly, itās love. ā¤ļø
In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.

Always read the labels!
Why are supermarkets adding ultra processed ingredients to this !!!
Lidl is adding pea protein to beef mince and calling it āHigh Proteinā.
What exactly is pea protein? It's a highly processed powder extracted from yellow peas. Sounds utterly unappetising to me!
Why on earth are we messing about with perfectly good beef?
Give me proper British beef, with one ingredient: BEEF!
This is exactly why I use my local butcher. I want to know what I'm eating and where it's come from.
Support British farmers and read those labels! š¬š§

I so wish the public understood what the welfare state was when it was originally set up. Health care, benefits & pensions all part of the outcome of creating a national insurance system. You paid in, when you needed support you were supported. We need to remember that.

Margaret Thatcher broke the link between the state pension and earnings in 1980, the value of the pension falling and pensioner poverty soaring as a result.
I thought Andy Burnham was rolling back Thatcherism.

Triple lock: From April 2030 pensions will continue to rise every year at least by prices, or 2.5% & it will hold its value "relative to earnings over time". There needs to be absolute honesty about what this means as breaking the link with earnings will cut pensions growth.
Bronwyn Twizell retweeted
Thatcher broke link between earnings & pensions forcing millions of pensioners to live in poverty for decades to come. Triple lock helped reverse some of the damage. With 2 million pensioners still in poverty no Labour government would go near scrapping it & risk next election.

Privatised water has failed. We need public ownership now - and Labour must be able to debate bold ideas to achieve real change.
