Some takeaways from tonight: Trae is still a top-tier offensive hub. Already breaking records for assists in the first three games. Now leads NBA in AST (34) and APG (11.3). Kyshawn looked really good tonight. The Swiss Army knife was on display. Champagnie’s hustle and activity is well-needed. We all know how great of a rebounder he is for his size but he’s turning it the best cutter on the team. Tre Johnson another solid game off the bench. He is thriving in this role.

Another big point and assist game for Trae Young 🧊 Young now has 34 assists in the first three games of the season. He ties John Wall (2016-17) for the second-most through three games in Wizards history, only behind Michael Adams (39 in 1991-92) per Wizards PR

Wizards get the win 124-118. They move to 2-1 on the season. Kyshawn George 22PTS - 9RBS - 5AST Trae Young 25PTS - 9AST Justin Champagnie 11-14-4 Young now has 34 assists in the first three games of the season. Justin Champagnie having a nice game: 11 points - 13 rebounds - four assists

Justin Champagnie is three rebounds away from a new career-high, which would be 15.

Going into the fourth, Wizards are up 97-82

Tre Johnson’s jumper is so smooth

Sarr is a really good passer. Maybe the team can design some plays where Sarr is playing in the post and have some player movement

Halftime AD, Trae and Tre all have eight points a piece to lead Washington. Wizards have nine turnovers. Just need to cut down on those and this game is winnable.

Glad to see Keefe giving Will Riley some early run. No Khris Middleton yet so guessing Riley is getting his minutes.

Wizards are up after one, 28-27 Another slow start for AD who is 2/7 so far. Coulibaly and Champagnie are the high men with five points

Omg Bilal just baptized Zach Collins!

Game day! Wizards taking on the Bulls in 40 mins. We ready for a bounce back win!

Again, no AJ Dybantsa tonight. Still out with the ankle injury he suffered during the last preseason game.

Wizards fall to the Raptors 112-102. Trae Young led Washington with 22 points and 12 assists. Stay tuned for postgame coverage

Tre Johnson is having a good game, up to 20 points.

If the Wizards want to win this, they need to make the push now. Down eight with 3:15 left to go in the game.

Per Wizards PR With his 20th point of the night, Trae Young has his second-consecutive game with at least 20 points and 10 assists. The last time a Wizard started a season with consecutive 20-point, 10-assist double-doubles was Michael Adams in the first three games of the 1991-92 season.

Wizards are down 81-77 going into the fourth.
