It could be worse - at least Elon Musk wasn't born in the U.S. and therefore won't be President one day.

Reminds me of that Seinfeld episode where George had to take off his shirt when he sits on a toilet. Might also have been the one where Kramer made salad while in the shower.
Men, what’s stopping you from wearing this? 😂

Pretty funny how Aussies react to 5 series BMWs as we do to Ford Ltds. Evidently BMW is the cop car of Australia. Should you buy a BMW 5 Series? (PLUS Ex-cop car!) | ReDriven used car re... youtu.be/o6n-RnCZQP4?si=wxE2… via @YouTube

Okay. How many car companies do we have?
Folks, right now, 25 of the largest pharmaceutical companies in America control 70% of the market. This lack of competition drives up prices – making it harder for hardworking American families to access the health care they need. Today, my Administration is doing something about it. Let me explain: Hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars are spent on research, discovery, and development of new prescription drugs. And while I firmly believe that the strength of a nation can be measured by the boldness of its science, the quality of its research, and the progress it helps bring forth, I also believe that the folks who paid for the research – you – ought to be able to access and afford the final product. That's why my Administration is proposing that if a drug made using taxpayer funds is not reasonably available to Americans, the government reserves the right to "march in" and license that drug to another manufacturer who could sell it for less. This is an important step toward ending Big Pharma price gouging. It's good for competition. It's good for our economy. And it's good for the millions of Americans who can't afford their medications – who know all too well that fine line between dignity and dependence that the price of a prescription drug can draw.

25 sounds like a lot of pharma companies unless the fact is that you hate pharma companies. What, are they holding out on Hunter or something?

I saw Old Pyrex open for Lou Reed in ‘75
Replying to @ellencarmichael
Look at your containers if it is pyrex instead of PYREX then you have tempered glass which is known to explode. Older PYREX is made with different material.

Well there you have it.
Truth be told even that's not a good marker for non-borosilicate glass because Corning started using soda-lime glass in the 40s occasionally, but if it's made post 1975 or so: almost certainly NOT borosilicate.

Hey, I won’t play if I can’t win.
Holy sh*t! An American professor and “anti-racist” activist, Ibram X. Kendi says that “whiteness prevents white people from connecting to humanity”. The audience breaks into applause.

Yeah. The New School for Social Research is acting out its term papers.
Right now at my university (@TheNewSchool). Students blocking all entrances/exits to the academic buildings chanting “Israel go to hell” “long live the intifada”. Campus security doing nothing to stop these protests. As a Jewish student I do not feel safe on my campus.

This is Egg of Columbus, a device exhibited in the Westinghouse display at the 1893 Chicago World's Columbian Exposition to explain the rotating magnetic field that drove the new alternating current induction motors designed by inventor Nikola Tesla. Free energy is present everywhere in unlimited quantities, and yet we are still paying for it.

I believe “astroturf” is the word you’re looking for.
It actually started back in 2016. Remember the San Jose riot against Trump supporters after a speech he gave there? Organized, paid mob.

So I guess I’m just a retired white guy with a wife, a golden retriever, and an armadillo problem.
