This should be one of the biggest stories of the moment. When a court blocks the Trump admin from deporting migrants to dangerous home countries, the government is sending them to 3rd countries with zero ties—who then send them straight to where they were fleeing. Lawless.
Within five days of being deported from the U.S., Moussa Diawara says Ghanaian officials forced him onto a flight to Mali, the very country a U.S. immigration judge ruled he could not be deported to. Diawara says he was homeless and went into hiding.

Watching Bill Maher defend his cordial evening with President Trump reminded me of my 2018 appearance on Bill’s program in which he excoriated me for my then friendship with the president. Trump can be a loyal friend and gracious, welcoming host who is not afraid to listen. Ours is a bitter busted up nation separated by grave differences. Whatever else is going on manners still matter. They may be the last thing holding us together.
