"What is freedom?" someone once asked. Freedom is the feeling of love for life—the pulse that drives and permeates us. In today’s fast-paced world, this is quite difficult to grasp. Look at the horses: do they run because they are in a rush? No; quite the opposite. They want to feel the wind of freedom, to let that pulse flow through them, to become one with it and say, "Yes, I am a child of Mother Nature—a free son and daughter." May the Great Spirit be with you all and watch over you. Amen.

I read a few posts about relationships today and wanted to share my thoughts on the matter. Is it ridiculous that so many people disappear from furry dating sites and the pool of options is shrinking? I don't think so—quite the opposite. Many people use these sites merely as hunting grounds because they crave "fresh meat" in bed and are looking for one-night stands. Let’s face it: not everyone wants their partner hooking up or having sex with who-knows-who behind their back, or being pawed at by countless others. A good relationship is built on trust, loyalty, understanding, and a great deal of effort, care, and time; in the chaotic atmosphere common among furries—where it seems like "everyone sleeps with everyone"—sustaining that in the long run simply doesn't work. And then, of course, we act surprised when the tearful posts and breakups follow, or when partners are casually discarded like toys after a while. You might say, "But my relationship works just fine this way," yet that nagging doubt will always remain; whenever your partner is with someone else, no matter what you do or how you deny it, you cannot hide the truth. You might call my thinking old-fashioned or backward—I don't care. But I would add that finding a good partner is becoming rare even outside furry circles, as this kind of behavior is becoming the norm there, too. All my life, I’ve simply longed for a faithful partner—for love, and for that one special person with whom I could share my feelings and truly connect, both sexually and otherwise; someone with whom I could feel like myself and with whom we could support each other.
