Unless Barnes gets back in, and he shouldn't in a 30-point game, this will be the second time he's been held scoreless. The first was in April of 2023. He was 0-for-7 in 29 minutes. 0-for-12 in 27 minutes tonight.

Kawhi Leonard played 28 minutes on Friday w no issue, practiced on Saturday w no issues & went through his normal pre-game in Minnesota before he was a late scratch with swelling in his left knee. Good news? The last time Leonard missed time with his left knee was 2019.
Kawhi obviously hasn’t looked like himself yet after missing start of camp and first exhibitions, but he’d consistently said he was feeling good and coming off a healthy season.
Wol-stat of the day:
Lakers C Walker Kessler has 15 dunks already in 2 games.
All of the Raptors have 8 (CMB leads with 3)

Raptors are 2-0 to start the NBA season for the first time since 2018-19, when they started 6-0.
Their opponents through 2 games: 57 made shots, 50 turnovers
Thanks to @NBAonPrime for sending me this as well. Story coming tomorrow on the expansion into Canada and the addition of Raptors icon Kyle Lowry to the lineup, with insight from Steve Nash, Blake Griffin, Greivis Vasquez and more.
Wol-stat of the day:
The Bulls only hit 4 three-pointers against the Raptors on opening night.
A Raptors opponent only connected on fewer threes once the entire time Kawhi Leonard was with the Los Angeles Clippers, the Knicks on New Year's Eve 2020.

Start-of-season rundown on the Raptors cap/roster situation, including apron stuff, a deadline lookahead, why they can only carry 14 guys, etc.
Also some early Raptors 905 roster stuff. (A third 2-way will be on the way soon.)

Wol-stat of the day:
Allen Graves had 4 offensive rebounds in his first NBA game.
The only Raptors rookie to pull down more?
Jonas Valanciunas had 6 in his debut 2012.
"That's something that I know I can impact right away," Graves told us afterward.
Raptors rookie Allen Graves on seeing @drake courtside: "'I was debating whether I wanted to reach my hand out, try to get a high five or not."
