As part of Education Week at Woodman, we invited our parents to come in and play math games! Students have been playing math games all year as part of our school improvement plan. @GEDSB @LisaMunro11

Today was our first monthly math games day at Woodman. We are using math games to develop a love of math in our students and our teachers paired classes together to play games! #GEMAAP @GEDSB

The 100th day of school is a big to show how much we have learned as we show what we have learned. At Woodman the 101st day of school is also very important, especially in Ms. Robinson’s room and yes those are flashing dog ears on the principal. @gedsb

Construction time at Woodman is also a learning time. Kinders shared some treats with the construction workers and got to ask them all kinds of questions in return. @gedsb

To allow for a “soft start” in the morning, Woodman have video announcements so classes can watch when they’re ready. Our SK student has started a new weekly segment. It’s worth a watch. @GEDSB

It was Terry Fox Day today at Woodman. Beautiful day and fantastic participation by our Wolves 🐺! Of course, Mr. Corbett spiced things up by doing a lap on his unicycle. @gedsb

Sometimes when you return from day long meetings your office is “changed”. Ms. Spencer and Ms. Cronkwright challenged their kindergarteners to produce 100 pieces of writing with the reward pranking me. Here it is!!!! @GEDSB
