i had a really cruddy Act 1 of yesterday and a really wonderful Act 2. SO GOOD to be in a full room of brilliant trans writers, to talk for too short a time to @TheDenneMichele about editing practice, to close the night with @isle_mcelroy's filthy/hilarious new work. 10/10

ALT A flyer containing a lurid comic book image of a voluptuous witch flying by on a broom with a cat, the cat's ears blown back by powerful winds. In the foreground, a jet fighter pilot's eyes pop: he can't believe what he is seeing? Is he blessed, or cursed? Further in the foreground is the author photo of beloved queer author Davey Davis and their excellent book X, which will be discussed at the event the flyer is for. The flyer contains the text: The world's only WORLD TRANSSEXUAL FORUM open mic and panel discussion for trans/GNC writers and artists. November 1, 8 pm, Franklin Park, 618 St Johns Place, Brooklyn zip code 11238. Featuring panelist Davey Davis (@k8bushofficial.)
