Over the past year, I’ve been going through one of the most difficult periods of my life, a long and extremely challenging divorce. One of the biggest issues in my marriage was always the amount of time, energy, and sacrifice I put into Gilmore Estates and our Web3 project. I was told more than once that I needed to choose between building what I believed could become my life’s work and focusing on our relationship. Every time, I chose to keep building. That decision came with consequences, over the past year I ultimately had to step away from Gilmore Estates. Based on the legal advice I received, I halted operations while my divorce was pending in order to protect the everything we had spent years building. As of yesterday, that chapter is behind me. The divorce is resolved, and out of everything I built and owned, the primary Gilmore Estates asset affected was Asset 164. Under the resolution, Asset 164 will no longer be part of the Gilmore Estates ecosystem, and I will receive $100,000 in connection with that asset. Now it is time to rebuild. And I already have a multi-step plan in motion. The Gilmore Estates website is scheduled to come back online next week, followed by the return of our app. When the app goes live, outstanding staking distributions are planned to be processed, and Asset 164 will be removed from the staking platform. We also intend to begin the process of buying back the Asset 164 NFTs and burning them. Beginning the first week of October, we plan to restart distributions associated with our eligible Asset NFTs and Founder NFTs. Our current plan is for each distribution cycle to include the current scheduled distribution plus one previously owed distribution until we work through the backlog. Previously owed distributions will be directed based on ownership records from the time that particular distribution was originally due. Asset 164 will be handled separately through the NFT buyback and burn process. As for $GC, over the coming weeks Gilmore Estates plans to begin multiple token buybacks, strengthen liquidity, and continue working toward our cross-chain initiatives. But bringing everything back online is only the beginning. Once the app is operational again, development resumes. One of our first major initiatives will be the Knowledge Tokenization Studio infrastructure designed to give educators the ability to tokenize their knowledge and create Learn-to-Earn educational programs. From there, we will continue attacking the Gilmore Estates roadmap one milestone at a time. I have been building on Hedera for approximately four years. I dedicated an enormous part of my life to the belief that tokenization can fundamentally change how ordinary people interact with real estate, education, ownership, and digital assets. My goal has never changed: Build the future of tokenization and bring it to the retail public in a way that hasn't been done before. For four years, I have tried to be as active as possible and support the Hedera ecosystem to the best of my ability. There were times when people supported me. There were times when people doubted me. There were times when the masses hated on me. I took the punches then, and I'll take them now. But I kept building. To anyone who wondered whether I would ever come back, you simply underestimated how much this means to me. Gilmore Estates isn't something I started because it was convenient. This is my life's work. I had to step away temporarily to protect what we built. I had to handle something in my personal life that couldn't be ignored. That's over now. I'm back. Now it's time to get back to work. To everyone who continued supporting Gilmore Estates and believed in what we were building even while things were quiet: Thank you. I haven't forgotten you. I haven't forgotten the promises behind the roadmap. And I haven't forgotten why I started this in the first place. We have a lot of work ahead of us. I'm ready for it
