depression drowning
me in what we almost had
yet bluer than blue
my #commitment ran to the stars
while yours set them on fire
while we both ascribed
the end #fueling in the eyes
of one another

A glow on your cheek, like a red rose in spring! I wonder, dear reader, what news does it bring? Is it a thought, or a secret you keep, that makes your soft colour so vivid and deep? Is this the reason you #travelled my way?

You love petrichor
But do you know
It's said to be harmful
For the lungs
Just like too much rain
To the soil
Enviable quenching
Relieve my stresses
With too much love
Of my troubled existence
To taper is a necessity
For sure

ALT A Fragile Point "What is the point", you ask, "of holding on to fragile beauty if the weight of the world grinds even bones to powder?" Safety recalls three buttons in the sink. I barely remember the scene. Verve tapers as my stresses tangle with heaviness ... sweet relief comes in surrendered screams. In this moment, fragile beauty seems enviable to me, as I counter: "What is the point of letting it go?" © Stefanie Neumann - @KokopelliBFree

zephyr / enviable / shriek/
At first, like a zephyr
her voice quietly
rides the western wind
Native tongue
laced with grief & pain
heard.
Then cherished
then adored
For always ever always
a thread of hope
drowns shrieks
of despair
allowing
Love
to thrive

In the depths of the purple sea we found Asylum. Finally able to have Autonomy.
But our Defiance came at a cost; we are no longer human

A cliché to say the least,
Flawed by design,
We are imperfectly human,
Human, what does such mean in such an inhumane world?
Are we enviable?
Or are we all just playing cards in costume?
Bewildered by thought,
Time to rest.

All of her hope was needed through this challenge
Encouraging her friends mattered

It wasn't the world's collective disbelief in his potential for brute force, but rather his own. It took the quick, sudden sight of a larger aggressor, kneed and driven into cold asphalt, that removed all doubt.
