I feel like Jared Kushner being at the center of the plot that ultimately led to an American journalist being dismembered via bone saw while he was still alive should be a much bigger deal than our billionaire owned news media is making of it.

it's funnier people can't understand the cruelty towards women is the issue not that he кills them, like terrifier is so fucking misogynistic it almost reads as a feminist deconstruction of slasher films similar to ash from evil dead & Johnny bravo being critiques of womanizers.

About 75,000 high school girls get raped by their male coaches each year. There’s less than 40 trans athletes competing at the high school level. Guess which problem these fucking idiots think is worse?

You can also go to a public library and have a conversation with a librarian that might help you expand your taste and worldview instead of merely affirming it. They’ll even let you check out the books for free.

One time I had a plumber come fix something and he saw my DVDs and was like “heh, movies? Yeah, I don’t do that. I read books. You ever hear of Clive Cussler?”
Honestly, kinda got my ass

This is actually a condescending view of working-class people. I grew up in a working-class immigrant family and we ate at Red Lobster and The Cheesecake Factory for "fancy nights out." But even we understood that the White House should not look like the inside of a Red Lobster. Working-class people are not culturally illiterate just because their experiences are shaped by their limited means.
