A manager's pet peeve is having a talented team that hasn't reached its potential.
Being an individual contributor is, at times, hard enough. Having to manage individual contributors can get stressful, especially for new managers.

Just attended my first @WriteTheDocsIN meet up. Here are my key takeaways from one of the talks on creating accessible documentation. 🧵
1. Making the documentation accessible is one of the most overlooked aspects of documentation.

What a great conference. Two days of learning and it was fun, too!
Endings are never easy but we take heart in the belief that the next one will be even better.
As a wise person once said: every ending is a new beginning.

Fuel up, gear up and sit tight for some action. Bolts of lightning talks up next on the #writethedocs AUS-IND 2020 conference.
There'll be talks about APIs, liturgy, experimenting with video, and one about sketchnotes.
(Wonder who's behind that one.)

Up next is @ankitatr_ discussing the plight of lone writers at #writethedocs AUS-IND 2020.

Developers are never going to write it in a way that is understood by everyone, first of all, and second of all, being developers you are not going to revisit those docs and make small changes or even bigger changes with a new software launches.

Suppose if anything goes wrong in the documentation, being a lone writer I think I'm the one who has to be blamed always.
@ankitatr_ on Impostor Syndrome at #writethedocs AUS-IND 2020.
(P.S.: We all feel the same.)

"What I like here is, all the questions asked here are getting answered one by one through the presentation itself."
A real-time comment from Khushbu in the audience on how well @ankitatr_ has structured her #writethedocs session.

Respect is a two-way street, said Denzel Washington in "Flight".
@ChrisChinch
agrees. His talk at #writethedocs is on how documentarians can make the life of developers just a little bit easier.
Docs people take help from devs and should help them - 2-way street!
Write the Docs India retweeted
Documentarians can help by advocating from a new user's perspective repeatedly. We're often the first people to try new features and changes after the developer who created them has created them.
Can't disagree with @ChrisChinch here.

"But do not let anybody say to you in your role, or whether that be in the employer that pays you or an open-source project, you're just a writer, you just write documentation."
