I love how in any cartoon, if videogames appear in ANY episode you can really tell if the creators are gamers or not by how accurate it is

So for any who don't know, I started writing a very OC Centric RWBY fanfic (because I wasn't enjoying the actual RWBY story) since 2019. At least, the first volume of it, and I decided to finally get back to it and finish the first draft. So now begins editing and cleaning it up.

How'd people like a story where a person is reformed from being a killing machine, depressed from their past, and their growth away from it while having chapters in between serve as vignettes of her past that led her to this point? Would it break the pace too much?
