the only downside of a totbt adaptation in this show is that im too attached to samstat and jam's chemistry.... i'm sure they'll find a way to make sure sam is involved but the idea of THEE loustat totbt scenes with someone else playing lestat is literally heartbreaking to me omg

On this day in 2025, #DickJrAndTheVolunteers rocked Nashville's @exit_in for a Halloween show. My outfit ~ like @dicksp8jr's look for the night ~ paid tribute to @vic_righthand's iconic SPNNola 2017 karaoke makeup. 📷 Dick Jr. by @heyitskayla

Happy birthday to the unique Winona Ryder, who is 55 today. Here as the delicate Mina Harker in Bram Stoker's Dracula. One of my favorite movies from the 90s. #winonaryder #dracula #halloween #TCMParty #alejandromogolloart

Hard to compare *anything* in 3 seasons to Lestat's last written declaration of love to his companion heart. But let's not pretend that that 306 didn't give us romance ~ "I wanted to live with you like I had been dragged out of the bayou, gills to lungs, for you and you only."

I have tried for many months to convince myself I felt the same weight of their love from “who would have us” than I did from “a veil will now forever separate our union. But it is a very thin veil, and I am always on the other side, face pressed up against your longing”,

This. There's no softer touches. If you compare Lestat's strip club styling, it's deliberately tactile - messy curls, bare shoulder, plush fur. Lex Wood said Gabs' look is informed by how Lestat is framing her. I'd be unsurprised if, outside his narration, she's even more severe.

i find it very hard to believe this fandom gives a fuck about gabrielle’s tvl characterization bc they care about misogyny. bc if u really did you’d be able to see how de-sexed she is as a character who uses sex as manipulation. not once do we see her fully nude. she’s never-

Yes. Yes, you are. Because that's how Anne Rice wrote it: "Perhaps in the court of my heart, I hold Louis far more accountable for my present state than ever I could blame my impulsive and simple Lestat."
