20yrs ago I wrote in @FarmersWeekly about dealers reps ignoring me. Last 2 weeks I’ve chased round trying to get a demo of a @NewHollandAG and a @MacDon to no avail despite several in the area 🤷♀️ – at East, England

Impending drought? Water companies are cautious. but farmers in east and southeast have been in severe agricultural drought since May and are fast running out of water. We need some strategic planning for water for food security.
Yes also available @wrootwater with Bauer couplings and BSP coupling 👍😉

Interesting research out of @AHDB_Potatoes in the UK. Drip irrigation used 59% less water than travelling gun with similar yield. Costs in year 1 are high, but after that with single use drip tape are approx. $510/ac. PEI needs to take a good look at drip irrigation

Check out the UK Irrigation Irrigation Association. It’s a great organisation with lots of useful resources, advice and industry contacts. Membership is cheap and certainly worthwhile. Join up now to keep these organisations strong for the future! ukia.org/public

FullHarvest buys #food that would be rejected by #supermarkets. It's important to NOT waste food, just because it doesn't look attractive enough. Around 1.3 billion tonnes of good is being wasted every year.

Off we go! We have started the harvest of 2020 with a crop of Marfona grown under drip irrigation. Looking nice and bold! 💧🥔🥔🥔💧20mm of rain on Sunday has helped things nicely. @WrootWater @GrimmeUK
I used a Grimme colt 30 years , I made an elivator and it worked well, but alas I am sure it was scaraped many years ago!
However it is not difficult to adapt machines have been doing it all my life😉
