As well as building some stats on the strategy page for when it will be open to the general public. The recommended balance for trading safely is 500$, down to 300$. Anything under this 300$ will have a way higher risk of liquidation as it will be inside the embedded safeties and the worst possible scenario. To all $AUT holders, How would the restart work ? That’s a question popping quite a few times in my DM’s since yesterday, and here is the breakdown. First, the project needs funding, it never constituted a treasury fund and the initial and only funding was provided through an $AUT sale on the market for the amount of 2k$. The required funding is calculated at approximately 10k$, which is the hardcap. The softcap is at 2k$, this represent the funding of the initial trading account. What about the other 8k ? Basically R&D, as $AUT will evolve to have multiple bots trading on different strategies, to maximize the chances of returns, as well as the deployment of the profitable bots onto different brokers as a “Don’t put all your eggs in one basket” security for the project. How do I plan to raise the funds ? 4 options: 1) A token sale on the market from my own hodlings of $AUT (chosen method when $AUT launched). 2) Raising funds from the community by providing a wallet address (USDT CRC20), and rewarding the contributors with a 100% ROI. The contributors would be allocated 50% of the generated profits until completion of the given ROI. Payment would be emitted from the receiving wallet towards the original sender all at once, to facilitate tracking and transparency. 3) An hybridation of both previous methods, contributors and token sale. 4) I personally seed the trading account and let it grow until it reaches 2k$ before the official relaunch of the project. I will be transparent, option number 4 is here just because I will not let the current hodlers of $AUT down, but if it’s the option chosen by the community, I will respect it, and let one bot trade for $AUT, and any other developments for the project would be on my free time, provided as a best-effort. Now the question you probably asked yourself as soon as you read the word “funding”. Wyll, you are a whale already, why don’t you just fund the entire project ? The answer is simple, it’s a community project, to which I provide my time, knowledge and efforts, with no share of the profits approved by the community, yet. A little update on why AurumTrust went dark to put things into context. I was manually trading on the account, while managing my own trading account, so managing 2 accounts at the same time was a constant brain gymnastic, involving different calculations in a very short time window to open trades at the same entry point on both accounts. This gymnastic could have been avoided if I simply placed the AurumTrust trading account into a copy trading of my personal account, but as the plan was to open the copy trading for everyone to be able to copy the trades of AurumTrust and also generate more profits for the project, doing so would have killed this idea immediately. As both accounts were traded with different equity and so different available margins, calculations were needed in between the opening of trades on both accounts, and that’s where the problem was, the human in between those accounts and doing all the operations, the human sleeping merely 5 hours per night. Needless to say, a mistake happened, I confidently opened a trade on both sides, and went to bed, thinking the Take profits would be hit by the time I wake up, and didn’t realize I entered identical trades on both accounts. I trade with a constant lot size of 1 with x500 leverage on my personal account, that means when gold price moves by 1$, the equity moves by 100$, while for AurumTrust, the trades were between 0.01 and 0.1 lots, depending on the level of confidence in my analysis. And that night, the 0.1 lot turned out to be entered as a 1 lot, and the trade went sideways for AurumTrust, despite hitting Take Profits on my personal account, the drawdown got AurumTrust liquidated. As my personal issues grew overtime, it took all my time away from the charts, and from the online life to a certain extent, so I put trading on hold, as well as everything else, and some time ago, I found myself in a position to come back, but I wanted to do it well, and not repeat the same mistakes. The main source of mistakes being me, I had to find a way to remove myself while ensuring the trades would go well and my methodology would be respected, which bring us to the Graal, Automation.
