Guys I bought this game and everyone is shooting me 😭 I only have 5 minutes to play every month and just want to relax. They need to add a PVE mode. Thoughts??

If you want PVE DMZ, just go play Arc Raiders. Now before you get mad- I'm not saying this as some cheeky dig at PVE players. I genuinely mean it. The games are so similar that there can now be a distinct line between them. DMZ is PVP, Arc is PVE. They can coexist now and cater to both sides of the same coin. If you haven't tried DMZ, it borrows so much DNA from Arc it's crazy. Once you start seeing the similarities, they become impossible to miss. Crows now fly over dead operators like a raider flare. You can get a trait to craft items while in raid. 4 basic components are the foundation of all crafting like fabric, rubber, plastic, and metal parts. Sound familiar? Survival and Smoke augments from Arc now basically exist as traits in DMZ. The 'Die Hard' trail let's you crawl forever while downed and auto call the exfil when you get close enough. In DMZ drones fly overhead like snitches and wasps. Giant helicopters and tanks patrol like rocketeers and bombadiers. Even small things like valuables having a diamond symbol similar to trinkets. You can spam free loadouts. The list just goes on and on. I never played the first DMZ, but I jumped in and basically knew how to play the new DMZ because I have 500 hours on Arc. Does DMZ have it's own unique aspects? Of course. But the similarities are pretty undeniable at this point. When arc pulled half a million concurrent players last November other developers definitely took notice. So yes, if you want PVE just play Arc Raiders. Arc is already moving aggressively to PVE and the recent PVE test had some strong results. PVP is likely a lost cause in Arc now. Don't force PVE in DMZ, too.

"Dude looking for a screwdriver" *Shows a clip of a team robbing a casino that gives you literally $10,000's and is objectively meant to be a high risk activity*
DMZ discourse is hilarious 😭 PvE guys want a co-op game with emotional support plates. PvP guys think killing a dude looking for a screwdriver makes them Scump. So where’s the line? What is DMZ actually supposed to be?

The possum perk is crazy in DMZ! Should it stay, get reworked, or be removed? #DMZ

DMZ is pretty amazing. It's like playing Arc Raiders except people shoot back and don't cry! #Amazing

DMZ is basically COD Raiders lol, not complaining but the Arc DNA is definitely all over

We said from the beginning a PVE mode would never work. We were right.
This is how people rat in ARC Raiders’ PvE mode 😭 📽️ u/Yureec

Gotta say, JJ Watt is 1000% better than Tony Romo. Jim Nantz deserved better

That's a cool idea. Do you want more cash, EXP, or a bit of both? and then randomize which team gets each one every game. @WARDOGS @HowardPhilpott

Thoughts on the first day of Wardogs Season 2: Progression feels crazy fast. Some items you don’t even get to use at all before you unlock a better option. I’m pretty sure I got my first medic level from like 1 revive lol. I got a few spots with binoculars before the monocular was unlocked. Don’t even need to buy the T-21 because the galil is unlocked so soon. The AK74 is an awesome gun, and idk if making it available by default is a good idea. I kinda miss the early grind with the garbage faction guns. I really like that people who switch teams can’t use the APC or see the map until they reach the combat zone… BUT, this also applies to people who join a server mid-match for the first time. It feels like a punishment for joining an existing game, and you have no idea where you are going. I’m glad they disabled the blue team bonus. People will always gravitate to whatever side has even the slightest advantage. I think the map balancing and outfit changes will help blue, and the bonuses seemed like an overcorrection. I hate the parachute changes, most pilots can’t land or don’t have enough time to land and as people level up we’re only going to get more counters to helis. I didn’t realize the new tank was put at Driver 20. Even without exploits, people are easily going to unlock that within a day. I already some multiple today. Building felt cool, the new roof is so dynamic that fobs can be completely redesigned from what we saw all last season. Hopefully season 3 progression slows a bit and fits comfortably between last season’s speed and this one’s. Season 1 felt extra slow just because most people were learning and exploring the game. We were going to always unlock stuff faster in season 2 because now we all know how to play. AND it’s 55% faster to level 20? Crazyyy. Still love this game, and it’s cool to see the devs willing to quickly correct and experiment. Can’t wait for the wager vendor!

That’s a wrap for me on Season 1, and I honestly haven’t had this much fun playing a new game in a really long time. Final stats: WD Level - 139 Hours - 190 Total cash - $10.3M I think I ended up building way more than I expected to, and enjoyed the FOB system a lot. I love that you can switch roles every game and do something different. It really keeps each play session fresh. You can also observe each match as it plays out and adjust your strategy to help your team win, and oftentimes you can feel your contributions making a difference even though you’re 1/33 people. I regret playing so much assault, it just was not rewarding enough to outweigh the cost and risk. I’m glad they’re addressing this a ton in season 2. Honestly the only negative thing for me was the gold market. I wish expensive rewards were static so we could grind accordingly and see our progress instead of trying to time a volatile market. It just sucked the fun out of an otherwise amazing grind. During the last 2 days of the season I played for the first time off-stream and did some Logi runs and tried doing logi by helicopter. It was actually awesome to sit back and relax experiencing a part of the game I had never tried because it was too “boring” for streaming. With the gold prices on the last day it looks like i’ll have 16 bars so I might pick up one of the new skins or save for the black and gold little bird, I’m not sure yet. #Wardogs
