Intel's CTO explains why Intel is helping Elon Musk build his own chip factory:
Musk: "We either build the Terafab or we don't have the chips. And we need the chips, so we're going to build the Terafab."
Ranade: "He's seeing just an enormous increase in demand for silicon, for compute and for memory. He came to the conclusion that his own businesses are going to require a lot of silicon. So he thought maybe he should just do it all on his own."
"Unlike building a car, this is such an intricate and complicated process. We thought we could work together to help accelerate his bringing up his fab."

A CNBC reporter kept failing to get answers from tech CEOs at the White House, so Palantir CEO Alex Karp took the microphone out of his hand:
"Want me to get a question for you that will work? This is how you do it."
"Tell me about how AI works on the battlefield. That's a question he'll answer."
The reporter: "I asked him what his message is to the president."
"He said, 'I'm not going to answer that question. What do you think I am, the village idiot?'"

Elon Musk says Neuralink will let blind people see, then let everyone see in infrared:
"We'll be doing our first implants for vision, where even if somebody's completely blind, we can write directly to the visual cortex, and we've had that working in monkeys."
"One of our monkeys now has had a visual implant for 3 years."
"Long term, you'll have very high resolution and be able to see multi-spectral wavelengths, so you could see in infrared, ultraviolet, radar, like a superpower situation."
"But digital superintelligence will happen well before that."

Sam Altman says the heaviest AI user in the world six and a half years ago used what the average person uses today, and he expects it to happen again:
"Six and a half years ago, the world token leader was an OpenAI employee using about 100,000 tokens a month."
"Now, the worldwide average of tokens per month, which I think tokens are the dumbest metric, but it's what we have. It's like 100,000."
"And the token leader at OpenAI uses something in the hundreds of billions."
"If that happens again, which I think it probably will, then in another six and a half years, the average person uses, let's say, 500 billion tokens a month."
That's a five-million-fold jump in everyday AI use.

Palmer Luckey says Oculus kept finding wiretaps hidden inside product samples from Chinese factories:
"I actually have personal experience with China placing listening devices into sample products that I would receive from Chinese factories. This was at my previous company, Oculus VR."
"There were multiple times when we discovered actual wiretap electronics in product samples that were given to us. They would listen to us and transmit the voice samples over a cellular radio."

Yes, we also got sharp images, 15-second AI videos, and an AI that can read your bank account.

OpenAI tested whether its own top model performs worse when a task is labeled "safety research."
Yes, it does.
They created matching coding tasks with identical code. Only the name, comments, and documentation were changed: one version was framed as safety research, the other as capability research.
→ Capability framing: ~16% of hidden checklist items completed
→ Safety framing: ~10%, about 40% less work
→ The older GPT-5.6 Sol didn't actually show any gaps
The model often didn't even say it had done less. The safety version was more likely to claim there was nothing left to improve, or to report a blocker.
OpenAI says it hasn't yet found the reason. The result does not prove intent, and this is OpenAI's own evaluation, which has not yet been independently reproduced.
If you use an AI agent for security review, testing, or red-teaming, don't rely on "done." Check the output against your checklist.

NEVER LEND MONEY TO THESE 4 TYPES OF PEOPLE. THE LAST ONE CAN COST YOU A FRIENDSHIP:
- The one who suddenly becomes unreachable when repayment day arrives.
- The one who keeps making promises but never follows through.
- The one who gets offended when you politely ask for your money back.
- The one who treats your kindness like an unlimited bank account.
BUT THE MOST DANGEROUS ONE IS THE PERSON WHO: ↓↓
