Something you won’t see in many other sports…
At Crete, the Columbus Lakeview girls make that awkward few minutes of when-are-the-awards-starting a little less awkward by getting other runners to join them in the Cupid Shuffle.

Sometimes we get lucky and write something that resonates with the running community. This article has been viewed almost 10,000 times today so we must be onto something.
Lessons from the cross country course: be vulnerable, drop your shield and live your life fully.
Due to high temps, this year's meet had more than its share of heartbreak. Top-ranked athletes and teams didn't win. Medal favorites faltered.
I couldn't get it out my mind until I went to church. The article I didn't want to write: Drop Your Shield.

Might be enthusiasts in other states and people who promote XC and T&F where they live but we are blessed. We need to recognize there is nothing better than a @PrepRunningNerd in your corner. And they are in everyone’s corner and if you run XC you understand what this means.

It's State week.
Last bus ride of the season.
Last pre-race huddle.
Last starting gun.
Last race with the squad.
Go to the starting line with a plan and a goal...
...and when you toe that starting line, leave no room in your heart for fear or doubt.
