Once i learned who Joe Lee was over a year ago i knew he was a real one.
Sometimes the universe brings us all together in the ways we least expect to do good.

Last week I discovered a group of people online who were discussing my early involvement in crypto… They followed my journey from my pseudonymous posts on the bitcointalk forum and created an NFT project in my online name ‘Seal’. I’m humbled and honoured that this group exists as they’re full of nothing but love (and great memes). They’ve decided to dedicate their time to share my story. The project was launched by some developers who abandoned the project (or did a satoshi and disappeared) it was then adopted by @dpacjones and has a token that trades in my name. I’m not affiliated to him or this project which has been live now for 1.5 years. I’m mind blown 🤯. To read more about my story, click the post below:

I remember reading about some of your early career years i think on one of your Medium articles or online somewhere. I did a bunch of investigating when the Seal project first came out trying to understand what was going on 😂
At first we didnt know anything about you and the Seal Project was surrounded in mystery of who was behind it.
I wrote a thread containing what i could find about your crypto journey and some of your early projects so other people could learn about your story.

Appreciate the low-down Aussie, I’m only just coming up to speed with what’s going on. Pro-cross chain gives me some ideas that can create win-win situations for everyone while acknowledging and preserving what was created and supporting the community OGs while transparently showing I was never involved with its creation. I love to repay kindness with kindness. BTW did u guys know I spent some time working in the banking industry in Sydney when I first discovered bitcoin? Look up the “Bitcoin Sydney Australia” Facebook group… I believe we hosted the worlds first bitcoin for beers event at a local pub back in the day. 2013 it says… 13 years ago. I miss those friends.

Its not unknown amongst our community that Joe Lee was never associated nor had anything to do with the launch of Seal.
He runs a successful business @defi_dive
And also does consulting and partnering with banks and financial services. Offering guidance towards crypto integration and adoptions.
Joe is aware that @sealonxrp
Exists because we have him in a reference and as a reference from day one.
Whether Joe supports the project, if he chooses, or does not is completely up to him!
Its simple for all of us though, we continue with our mission to keep building something great for the #xrpl as a community and if it means some OGs notice, so be it!
Joe Lee is a crypto OG seed investor of @ethereum
And a beta tester of the original XRPL wallets.
We look up to him with high regard and from what we have read his outlook on direction is similar to how many of us feel.
