Elon Musk wants you to believe Ukrainians are dying because their elites are getting rich. Here’s another explanation: Russia invaded their country. Ukrainians are fighting to keep it. Who is really getting rich?

Targeted transfers are the most cost-effective way to protect the vulnerable in cost-of-living crises. Subsidies can require 5 to 22 times more fiscal resources and on net provide limited benefits to vulnerable households or even leave them worse off. imf.org/en/publications/weo/…

Cost-of-living crises hit lower-income households hardest. Governments often rely on broad subsidies and tax cuts, but new IMF research finds targeted and temporary transfers best protect the vulnerable while preserving fiscal space. imf.org/en/publications/weo/…

We haven't been able to bring any supplies into Gaza, Palestine, since 1 January 2026, because Israeli authorities are blocking aid. Read from our medical adviser in Gaza about how this is affecting operations in our hospitals and clinics: msf.org/gaza-israeli-entry-r…

Israel just adopted the death penalty for Palestinians. Last week, the @eu_eeas called the death penalty a violation of the right to life and to freedom from torture. Logically, the EU should now suspend the EU-Israel Association Agreement that demands respect for human rights.

We don't need a small or large government, we require efficient government that keeps infrastructure top notch, invests in true national security i.e. universal healthcare, multi-tier 1 education, uses practical & humane methodologies to protect civilians, human rights, and law.

Trump's net worth has jumped $3-4 billion during his presidency. Meanwhile, many American families can't pay their bills because of his bad decisions. Public office is for serving the people, not yourself.

Ursula Von der Leyen addressed the European Parliament on Iran and war in the Middle East without even naming the US or Israel. Imagine not naming Russia when discussing the Ukraine war. This isn't neutrality. It's selective storytelling that shields allies from scrutiny.

Joint Statement The Foreign Ministers of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, the Republic of Indonesia, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Republic of Türkiye, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Qatar and the Arab Republic of Egypt condemn Israeli occupation authorities’ continued closure of the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque / Al-Haram Al-Sharif to Muslim worshippers particularly during the holy month of Ramadan. Security restrictions on access to the Old City of Jerusalem and its places of worship coupled with discriminatory and arbitrary access restrictions to the other places of worship in the old city constitute a flagrant violation to international law, including international humanitarian law, the historical and legal status quo, and the principle of unrestricted access to places of worship. The Ministers affirmed their absolute rejection and condemnation of this illegal and unjustified measure, as well as Israel’s continued provocative actions at Al-Aqsa Mosque / Al-Haram Al-Sharif and against worshippers. They stressed that Israel has no sovereignty over occupied Jerusalem or its Islamic and Christian holy sites. The Ministers reiterated that the entire area of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, which amounts to 144 dunams, is a place of worship exclusively for Muslims, and that the Jerusalem Endowments and Al-Aqsa Mosque Affairs Department, affiliated with the Jordanian Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, is the legal entity with exclusive jurisdiction to administer the affairs of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque/Haram Al-Sharif and regulate entry to it. The Ministers called on Israel, as the occupying Power, to immediately cease the closure of the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque, remove access restrictions to the Old City of Jerusalem, and refrain from obstructing Muslim worshippers’ access to the mosque. They also called on the international community to adopt a firm position that compels Israel to halt its ongoing violations and illegal practices against Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem, as well as its violations of the sanctity of these holy places. #Jordan
