To SY, @sonyasarann
Today I learned that you plan to help people in need around your birthday. It felt like such a lovely coincidence, because I’ve been hoping to do something similar for you through my art.
I mentioned before that I wanted to make the most of my free time and do something meaningful around my birthday next month. So I decided to spend around 40 days creating a digital art series about your journey, as a gift for your birthday next year.
Each piece in this collection means a lot to me. They aren’t just drawings I made for fun each one has its own story, emotions, and hours of work behind it.
I draw because I love it. Finding you and becoming your fan happened by chance, but you’ve brought so much positivity and energy into my life. The artworks I create of you are memories I want to treasure and share with you. I’ve never wanted to use your name for commercial gain, fame, or income.
I’ve been thinking a lot about this collection lately. I’ve finished about a third of it so far, and some pieces have taken me over 20 hrs each. For me, drawing isn’t just about getting the likeness right it’s about capturing the feelings behind each moment too.
Over time, fans from different countries have asked to buy my artwork or prints, but I’ve always declined. Some have suggested selling the digital files so people can download and print them themselves. I’m truly grateful that people enjoy my work, but I want to preserve the value of the art I’ve put so much time and heart into.
After learning about your wish to help others, I’d be more than happy to gift you the original digital files of this collection. If the opportunity ever comes, I hope you and your company might consider publishing it as a printed artbook and using the profits to help people in need.
I’d be so happy if my art could be used for something this meaningful. But if it doesn’t happen, that’s okay too. If these pieces can help you revisit your memories and see how far you’ve come, then this gift will already mean so much to me ))

The Journey Begins: Preparing a Digital Art Series About SY’s Journey
Next month, after celebrating my birthday with my family, I’ll go to Boracay on my own and stay there for the rest of the month. I want to experience life on the island and spend that time creating a digital art series tracing SY’s journey up to now a gift for SY ☘️ @sonyasarann
I’ve already started rewatching all of SY’s series. For me, drawing isn’t just about making the artwork look like the reference. Through my art, I hope SY can reconnect with the feelings she experienced in the past.
Follow me and see how my two month journey of creating this digital art series unfolds.

Here’s a little peek at the digital artwork I just finished after 20 hrs of work.

After I finished taking photos of my drawings of SY, I turned around and noticed so many people watching me and asking about them.
It’s not because my drawings are that good it’s because SY is just so beautiful. 🤭

If you like my art and love SY too, follow me 🤍 For my birthday next month, I’ll share the original file of one of my digital drawings so you can print it yourself a little gift to remember me by 🫶#Sonyasarann #SonyaSaranphat
SY’s Journey Through Digital Art Chapter 1: Childhood 🫧
The first photo I’ve chosen for this collection. Spent 5+ hrs drawing it, keeping the feeling of the original photo & adding a few little details of my own.

When I was little, I’d grab a piece of chalk and run out front to look closely at the Buddha’s shoulders. Then I’d run around back and try to draw them evenly on the tiled floor. For a little kid, that wasn’t easy at all.
No one ever taught me how to draw hair, either. I just had to understand how it falls, and then I could make it look shiny and defined.
Drawing isn’t just about making something look like the reference. You also have to know what to add and what to leave out to give it soul and emotion. I believe I can do that.
A beauty queen who received one of my drawings once told me, I’m scared to sign your artwork. I’m afraid I’ll get it dirty. Hearing that made me so emotional because I realized just how much she treasured my artwork.
This artwork is going to Spain 🇪🇸 LMSY are so lucky to have besties who love them this much, and I’m so happy to know that even after more than a year, you still wanted me to redraw it.
Besties, let’s keep showing each other this kind of love, okay 💜?

Back then, there were things other people could do that I couldn’t. People always expected more from me and held me to a higher standard, which put me under so much pressure.
Luckily, I found SY when I came back to 🇻🇳. Being on X feels like a little escape for me a social platform none of my family or friends use. I just wanted to share my drawings for fun. Thank you, SY, for always showing up and bringing me so much joy.
Thank you to everyone who’s reached out and trusted me, even though I haven’t shared any of my design work on here. You could feel the emotions I poured into my LMSY drawings and believe in me.
But starting today, I won’t be taking any more requests for custom drawings or designs. I’ll be putting all my time through the end of the year into preparing a surprise for SY. I won’t post or share any of it SY will be the first to see it.
My time to myself is precious, but that’s okay SY is my youth. I think I’ll look back on all this one day and find it interesting. To me, it’s worth it 🤍

Would you like to see a digital artwork of SY 😝 #SonyaSaranphat #sonyasarann
And this artwork feels extra special because today marks the day I joined X
I only started using X because of LMSY, and I don’t use any other platforms. I draw simply because it makes me happy, so I just share my artwork here on X. I’ve been getting this question a lot lately, so I thought I’d answer it here for everyone 💛 #sonyasarann #SonyaSaranphat
I’m looking for a challenging photo of SY to draw. If anyone has one, please share it with me 💫

Yesterday, I dreamed that SY was flipping through my artbook haha. It really was just a dream )) Let’s wait and see how this photo turns out as a drawing #SonyaSarann #SonyaSaranphat

My 40 60 cm LMSY piece took 14 hrs to draw, and my A4 Pleng piece took 12 hrs. Even after drawing almost 50 A4 pieces of LMSY, Pleng’s still the hardest and most time consuming one I’ve made so far #SonyaSarann #SonyaSaranphat #LMlookmhee #LMSY
Can you guess which event this SY look is from? Here’s the drawing 😝@sonyasarann
