We already know that Scott and Kip are returning for seasons 2 & 3. The presence of them and other couples do not mean that Hollanov will not shine. Obviously you don't care about the LGBTQ+ community outside of your fetish one fictional couple.
The production actually respects the source material and knows that there'd be no Shane & Ilya or Game Changers Universe without Scott and Kip. They also know that Scott and Kip are also loved by many fans.
