It's been a while since I've introduces myself so here goes nothing.
Hi! 👋I'm Yehuda.
(That's pronounced like 3 words you already know really well. Yeah, Who, and Duh. You just say them together real fast)
Born and bred in Baltimore, MD and that's where I've settled now with my own family.
I've been working in the accounting/tax world now for close to a decade. I've gone through a bunch of different jobs ranging from tax seasons at accounting firms, internal accounting for a law firm, and most recently as head of Finance for the prediction market startup, Kalshi.
I started doing taxes on the side in 2019 and slowly built up my clientele and skills.
In 2024 I decided that running a tax firm full time was the life for me.
I'm now in my 2nd year running my firm full-time and I'm so glad I chose this path.
I love helping people with their taxes and finances. I do monthly accounting for businesses as well as prep businesses for tax prep.
I also have a passion for software UI and UX and I work with different companies giving professional grade feedback on all their features and design.
I play guitar and sing professionally, but now that's my side gig.
I have a podcast, The People Behind The Books (@BehindBooksPod) where I interview people in the accounting/tax world to get their story on how they got where they are so you can learn from people who have already walked the path you're on.
I'm always up to good conversation and connecting with others.
That's my story. What's yours?

Say what you will about @TaxDome_TD but Ilya Radzinsky himself just called my cell phone to discuss the pricing changes. What he said made sense and we discussed how it is perceived versus what the actual intent and purpose was. All businesses have to make shifts like moving from Value Based to Subscription model for accounting and tax or giving price breaks for people who bring in more work in this case the price breaks comes from using the TD Payments powered by Stripe. I was impressed that Ilya took time to call and find out my concerns, that goes a long way in 2026.
You now have another option to authenticate your identity to access #IRS online services ahead of the 2027 filing season. Learn more about the new Login.gov authentication process here: irs.gov/tools

a lot of people ask for my $1M side project's tech stack.
it's pretty simple:
- MacBook
- Opus 5.5
- being totally fine with lying on the internet
you really only need that last one tbh
