The world may temporarily exceed 1.5°C. That makes climate action more urgent, not less.
Eleven years after the Paris Agreement, #COP31 must be about delivery. Ambition must become implementation.
And adaptation and resilience must now be treated as global political priorities, backed by outcomes that protect countries and communities on the frontlines.

Humanity is speeding towards a climate catastrophe.
That’s the stark warning from the latest @UNEP report.
Every fraction of a degree of warming will cost lives, deepen inequalities & push ecosystems closer to irreversible damage.
We must raise ambition, accelerate #ClimateAction & fight for humanity. NOW.

Every child deserves access to quality education close to home.
At Tsogt-Undur Bagh School in Mongolia, I saw how investments in education, child protection and climate resilience can transform opportunities for children in rural communities.
This is how we reduce inequalities and bring quality education within reach for every child.

Young people around the world are demanding change for a sustainable future.
With less than five years to deliver on the SDGs, youth leadership and impatience are the urgency needed to make a difference.
This #YouthDay, let us act in solidarity with every young person for the future they want.

Advancing the energy transition at speed and scale has never been more urgent.
Critical energy transition minerals are central to this shift.
A truly just transition must deliver fair, equitable and sustainable outcomes for producing countries and communities, while upholding human rights and environmental integrity at every stage.

Extreme heat is no longer a future threat.
This is a stark reminder that our response cannot be a future choice either.
We must move with urgency to keep 1.5°C within reach and protect those on the frontlines of the climate crisis.

2.6B young people in the world — still too often excluded from decisions shaping their lives.

AI has the power to transform our world. But only if it is built by, and for, everyone.
From learning to leading, girls must be at the center of the AI revolution to unlock its full potential for development.
