🕊️ 21 Sept is the International Day of Peace, established by the UN in 1981. Since 2001, it calls for a day of non-violence & ceasefire.
🌍 Nuclear disarmament remains vital to global peace & security.
#PeaceDay #NuclearDisarmament
🌍On July 11 and 12, Youth Fusion had the privilege of participating in the Abolition 2000 Annual General Meeting (AGM) alongside global peace leaders and disarmament advocates. (1/4)
🤝 Key partner organizations were also present including:
🔹 Peace Depot
🔹 Basel Peace Office
🔹 UNFOLD ZERO
📄 Proposals were shared our very own Youth Fusion team, contributing to a dynamic exchange of ideas across sessions of the AGM agenda.(3/4)
Thank you to everyone who participated and inspired action ! (4/4)

Can NATO "combat" climate change?
With #COP28 in full swing, here's my latest @inkstickmedia commentary challenging NATOs intensifying efforts to militarise climate action.

Positioning itself as a “driver of climate action” NATO is pushing a key message: there is a war to be waged on climate change, and NATO’s allied militaries are getting ready to wage it. This development should stop us in our tracks.
