Gary Mason spent the past year warning that BC Conservatives were a band of MAGA-curious wingnuts, culture-war amateurs, and shambolic leadership disasters who couldn’t be trusted with the province. Now that they’ve actually won, he’s on air calmly explaining that yes, the debt is a mess, the civil service ballooned, healthcare is broken, and the new government will have to make “really tough decisions” like hiring freezes if they want to turn the ship around. We shall see if the Liberal infiltrated BC Conservatives will keep their word on removing SOGI and rescinding DRIPA and reversing the land grabs!
Even though Dallas Brodie lost her seat we all owe her a great debt of gratitude as she helped shift the conversation in BC politics to focus on the critical issues …SOGI, repealing DRIPA, ending the land grabs, dealing with drugs and crime and so much more.
I pray the BC Cons will keep their word.
We must remain vigilant to ensure they do.
