damn that's crazy
anyway on bluesky, users have named the blocking function "the nuclear block" because it's such a powerful tool to reduce harassment and dogpiling
you should have control over your experience online
bsky.app/download
X/Twitter is reportedly set to remove the block button
If the blocked account is public, it will still be visible to you
via @nima_owji
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This is incorrect. The block button will not be removed, but its functionality will be changed.

Additionally, this was discussed earlier, and the changes never went through due to non-compliance with app store guidelines.

Elon has made it so basically everything you'd done on Twitter, including your DMs, will be used to train their AI called "Grok". It's turned on by default. Click this link and uncheck that box to turn it off teapawt.net/settings/grok_settings

Our sanctuary is a place of love and kindness. Our followers have helped us provide feed and supplies via TSC cards and deliveries. We have never asked anything of TSC. Each week we see our local staff and managers. They know us and help us provide for our animals. Each year Tractor Supply makes more than $65k yearly off this account. Today we met with our branch manager. We explained that we cannot support Tractor Supply any longer. He was horrified. He had no knowledge of this drastic shift in policy. Hey TSC, think you might want to let your employees know. We never asked for a pride flag out front. We do expect respect and inclusion. You have lost our business and every shred of respect we might have had. Out Here WE DESERVE BETTER. @TractorSupply #TractorSupply #LifeOutHere 🪡1.

You sent me an email in 2020 that said:

PUT THE MUSIC ON,
as soon as it doesn’t seem right,
change the music/station,
but don’t turn it off
—————
I promise, the music will always be on.
I’ll miss you dearly, you marvelous, vivid, wonderful

Absolutely love Ant on Chris Finch: "He's just a great coach and he don't sugarcoat anything with anybody. If KAT's f*cking up he's gonna get on KAT, if I'm f*cking up, he's gonna get on me ... no matter how high the player is on the pole"
