sometimes you cry multiple times not because of the content but because of the amount of passion and artistry that only human minds and hands can make….the bird sequence towards the end just…god

there are multiple moments in this movie - and that final fight in particular - where the artistry on display is so aesthetically overwhelming that i was instantly out of breath and moved to tears. an astonishing, once-in-a-lifetime achievement of filmmaking and storytelling that made me feel like i was falling in love with fantasy for the first time all over again.
one of the strongest arguments i’ve ever seen against anything thinking it can replace art that humans make themselves. pure magic as a movie.

To mark the 53rd anniversary of Tolkien's death, here's one of his poems. I'm not a fan of most of his poetry, but I think this is beautiful. My mother-in-law was a big Tolkien fan; I read this at her funeral last year.
I'm 25 Years Old today. This year has been pretty amazing for me and I hope every day that I can continue to live life to the fullest. Thank you to all my amazing friends for bringing joy into my life <3. Also haven't posted face on here in a while so here's some photos
This is why Outer Wilds is the best

Hard to express the profound sadness this makes me feel. It's been a while since I've played D2 but even then I'll never forget the amazing times I had. I will cherish the time I played D2 forever, and I hope the friendships I built through the game will last a lifetime

For almost twelve years, we have had the joy and honor to explore the Destiny universe with you all. Through all the ups and downs, surprises and triumphs, building Destiny alongside our players has been a monumental privilege. While our love for Destiny 2 has not changed, it has become clear that after The Final Shape, we have reached the time for our shared worlds, and Destiny, to live beyond Destiny 2.
As our focus turns towards a new beginning for Bungie, we will begin work incubating our next games. To that end, on June 9, 2026, we will release the final live-service content update for Destiny 2 to begin that new journey as a studio.
Though active development may be concluding, we will ensure that Destiny 2 remains playable, just as the original Destiny is today. Many changes in this final update will aim to ensure that Destiny 2 is a welcoming place for players to return to.
We’re proud of Destiny 2, the places it took us, and the legacy it has created. Because of you all, our universe is vast, built on years of shared stories, adventures, and victories. From the Cosmodrome to the Pale Heart to the Lawless Frontier, we have forged life-long memories and friendships with you all.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who made that journey with us.
From the deepest part of our hearts, thank you, and we'll see you in the stars.

A not-so twitter pleasing opinion, but telling men, especially young men that they're inherently incapable of love, empathy, tenderness, or genuine connection and are only biologically driven to pursue women for sex doesn't help dismantle toxic masculinity, it just reinforces it.

#AndySerkis says he doesn't "see any difference" between acting in video games versus other mediums:
"The irony is that Hollywood is using video game engines to drive all the previews for all the big action sequences in all the movies."
