The postseason is awful. Every inning is excruciating. Winning isn't even fun. It's just a slight relief until tomorrow night.

The Knicks played hard before winning a championship. You can argue they would have been better off losing to the Hawks because at least they’d still be hungry. Winning destroyed the culture.
The Jets and Giants both had season defining games. One team figures out how to win and the other team doesn't like winning.

Omar Cooper Jr is the best raw talent I’ve seen since Randy Moss. Probably better if I’m being honest. Could easily see him in Canton.
This is one of those “excited to watch the Jets” games. They always lose these but maybe they can do something different like win.

Umpires are law enforcement too, and their rulings should be respected. As a country, we're failing because we’ve normalized second-guessing. Yandy Diaz went around, and that’s that. Anybody who complains should be banned from MLB stadiums for a year. That’s how democracy works in my country.

The Matt Blake signing is more of the same for the Yankees. He's easily one of the more overrated coaches in the sport. Only 20-year-olds who think memes are funny think he's any good. Under Blake, the Yankees have not won a World Series, which is the only thing that matters. That alone should be reason to cut him loose. For me, they need winners to lead this team. Mike Mussina would be in pinstripes yesterday coaching this team if it were up to me.

Petey Halpin’s energy is missed in this World Series BAD. The Rays and Brewers don’t have a player like him with this type of raw emotion. We were robbed of seeing a great Guardians team electrifying MLB audiences everywhere.

The Yankees should do a clean swap of Aaron Judge for Bryce Harper. It's time to get some winners in the room. I would even go as far as extending Harper once he gets here. Just reset the whole culture and cleanse the pallet from the last 10-years.

Me listening to that press conference
Hal Steinbrenner finally showed his face, but quickly disappointed.
The owner of the Yankees was full of contradictions, and offered little reassurance about actual change.

Cashman can't see the irony of him answering the Yankees "accountability and culture problem".... that he doesn't agree (take accountability) that there is a problem
Sort of....... proving the point that the Yankees FO does have a accountability issue... calling everything noise
A lot has been said about what Aaron Judge's input is with the Yankees, but let's be honest. He was made captain in 2023. The extent of his input is unknown, and even if it was a lot, that's four total seasons. This organization hasn't won anything since 2009, and it would be longer were it not for Alex Rodriguez playing out of his mind.
Blaming Judge for any of this outside of his postseason play is asinine and distracts from the real issues. It's that Hal Steinbrenner is afraid of change and has shown little desire to lead his team.
The owners created the luxury tax because they didn’t like that George Steinbrenner was buying every free agent for the Yankees. Now his son is siding with those owners. If this organization feels like any other team, it starts at the top.

Hal Steinbrenner gave me 15 minutes on Zoom this morning to talk the state of the Yankees. Hope you’ll give this a watch. Some of the most important work of my life.

I’ll summarize to save you the time
- Hal: I thought the team persevered through injuries, Boone managed well, and we underperformed in the playoffs and I expect better from everyone
- Cash: Injuries and underperformance hurt us. It’s on us to build a roster to take another swing at it
- Boone: It’s on us to change the narrative and get it done
Blah blah blah

Apropos of nothing in particular. Here are a few reasons why Zoom news conferences aren’t ideal, for those wondering:
- It’s the most impersonal set-up.
- It’s not always easy to ask follow-up questions.
- You don’t get the possibility — whether it happens or not — of talking to people on the side. Many questions throughout the season are NOT asked on camera, believe it or not.
- You don’t know if your subjects have talking points in front of them.
- They tend to feel cold or overly staged.
- You don’t get a sense of body language.
- It’s easier to end things suddenly.
- There’s always the possibility of WiFi or sound issues.

TBH give zero fucks what the Three Amigos say tomorrow, just play the tape back from the past decade to get the same responses
And with a looming CBA anytime a question about the lockout is brought up, they are going to say, "they can't discuss the CBA"
I don't want why people are dying waiting for them to speak....going to give the same BS lines they've been giving for yrs
