@GwenLA also offers tap water, priced at $0. Served by the glass, “the Los Angeles Tap water (@LADWP) has more minerals and electrolytes dissolved than most purified bottled waters,” the menu notes.

Effective today, LAX will ban the sale of single-use plastic water bottles. We encourage guests to bring reusable water bottles that can be filled at various water stations throughout our terminals. Thank you for helping us reduce plastic waste as we move towards zero waste.

Bottled water cost is astounding when you think of how much you’re paying for production and distribution compared to the water itself. It’s even more shocking when you consider the detrimental effects it has on the environment

Trust in tap! Millions of single-use plastic bottles become pollution each year as a result of bottled water not being properly disposed of. You have the opportunity to fill up a reusable water bottle instead, which can save hundreds of plastic bottles from becoming trash!

45% of all bottled water sold in the US is actually sourced from the tap!😱So why pay 300 to 2000x more for bottled water when you are already getting the same water from your tap? Respect the work the #WaterPros do for you to make clean drinking water affordable for all💵💧

My advice, drink tap water! 🚰 It's more regulated than bottled water and thousands of time cheaper! "Arsenic in Bottled Water Prompts a Product Removal: How Much Is Safe?" nyti.ms/2X08d8Q by @Rueby via @NYtimes

The average cost for one gallon of water from your water source to your tap is less than a penny. In comparison:
-The average cost for one gallon of milk in our community is $2.50
-The average for one gallon of gas is $2.25
-Bottled water costs 100+ times more than tap water

Tap H2o! 🚰 @CamelBak says that the average American could save about $25 and 18 bottles from the landfill by taking its pledge to go disposable-free for 30 days. By then, you’ll have turned this practice into a habitat-friendly habit. bit.ly/2vZYLqV via @BryanOnScouting
