I wrote (another) poem about pie but also about cold toast, taking my cat to the vet, feeling hopeless but writing poems anyway, etc, etc, etc β€”

A twin review of #MoldovanHotel and "Beast At Every Threshold" by Natalie Wee is in the latest issue of @arcpoetry magazine. Says @leahhorlick: "@YoDessa, you see my work more clearly than I do and write about it in ways I could only dream ofβ€”and in incredible company. πŸ’™πŸ’œπŸ’™"

rob kindly invited me to write a poem for @SiklosiK, and who am I to refuse such a lovely request? The result features knitting, grandmothers, repetition, hair, and hopefully all the admiration I hold for Kate Siklosi.

I appreciate this article presenting how little someone had to say to be rounded up in Galloway's lawsuit. If this kind of lawsuit is accepted, it will be almost impossible for anyone (in public or private) to discuss an assault allegation. thestar.com/news/canada/2021…
A fun reminder of some of the things for which Steven Galloway is suing the twenty (20!) people named in his lawsuit: - Communicating in private what they were told by a woman who said she'd been sexually assaulted. - Saying they believe women (without even spelling out who).
