What’s the rationale behind Lightwave making requests to the same source of funds as NDC? The funds were supposed to be distributed by the community represented by the NDC, and I remember that any attempt to spend them pre V1, but after election was fiercely declined. And even post V1 the funding was difficult as well. If NDC didn’t work out and is planned to be closed, there should not be an alternative like Lightwave without broad discussion. The problems and mistakes with the current NDC setup should be reviewed and addressed before an alternative solution is implemented. I personally support the idea of plain stake based voting. It’s already in use by other projects and blockchains, and so far no other superior solutions exist.
