Stupid is easily fixed. You just hit it with a hammer... Ok, maybe not fixed but you stopped it walking around... & being anywhere near you.

The EU project is deeply ideological and imperialist in it's overall aspiration. It's not an economic bloc project. Those that would surrender their nations to the EU are either heading-up already defeated countries or obviously engaged in treachery. Wakey Wakey
Yanukovych says that even if he could turn back time, he still wouldn't sign the EU deal. Look at what Brussels put on the table in 2013. The EU offered €610 million, on condition that Kiev sign a loan deal with the IMF. "We don't have to be humiliated like this," Yanukovych told Ukrainian TV, adding that the IMF wanted higher taxes and frozen salaries and pensions. Russia bought about a quarter of Ukraine's exports, and Ukraine's machine-building and aircraft plants worked largely for Russian customers. He warned the deal would wreck whole sectors of the economy. On November 21, 2013, Kiev put the deal on hold. Less than a month later, Moscow offered $15 billion in loans and cut the gas price by a third. He was never against closer ties with Europe, he says. He refused to sign a deal that, in his words, betrayed Ukraine's national interests. The Maidan protests began the night he put it on hold, and three months later he was overthrown.

If someone is of the belief that Brexit was incredibly harmful and has cost Britain dearly, despite only being <40% delivered. Even if they are entirely correct (they are the opposite of correct) rejoining the EU will not reverse that loss and will lock-in its compounding.

So this whole generational divide thing being fomented. That the young are being robbed by the old. What is actually happening is the young are being incited to support the state welching on a deal made with previous generations.

It's hilarious when you think about it. Getting clueless kids to pick a fight with their grandparents on the promise of a better deal if they do... a promise made by the people who want to break the promise to those kids' grandparents. Bless em.

France learning that you shouldn't let guests get too comfortable. In the 70s guest workers from the recently independent former colonies were as integrated as you'd expect itinerant workers to be - not at all. They lived in conditions poor by French standards.

They didn't want to go home. Take Algeria as an example - a crooked authoritarian junta were cracking the socialist whip. Along the way they were rolling in cash from the seized oil & gas industry and used that to underwrite massive borrowing to build inefficient heavy industry.

Given what was going on in many of the former colonies you have to wonder just whom the end of guest worker regime in France was intended to help. Algeria's exploding debts were owed to, surprise surprise, American banks and industrial conglomerates. Funny that, eh?

UK Government for decades: "Don't do that, stop that, don't drink that, stop eating this, don't you dare say..." Also the UK Government as it bangs the war drums: "Keep some water in, some beans. If it kicks off you're on your own basically, you'll manage."

The way UK & France are being pitched into joining in the impending assaults on Iran is very reminiscent of Libya.

I'd have thought he'd have cited the 'threat to life' notices as defence. If the police have notified you there's a credible threat to your safety they can't (or won't) deal with. I think it passes the reasonableness test to investigate and challenge anyone aiding that threat.
Tommy Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, cried while giving evidence in his court case today. He described feeling panicked and terrified after a Mail Online article exposed his location in August 2024. He's accused the outlet of intentionally putting his family at risk while they were on holiday. The far-right activist is charged with harassing two MailOnline journalists in 2024. He denies the charges.

Why is anyone at all surprised that degenerates, slimers, and deeply unimpressive individuals like Chris Bryant, Liam Byrne, and Annelise Dodds were working with an MI6 handler to use Parliament for their schemes. High achievers of low ability and lower integrity are always suss

Line two in the firearm safety manual is a weapon is never safe UNTIL YOU HAVE CHECKED IT YOURSELF. And you still don’t point it at anyone, even if it’s safe. I’m pretty sure you don’t know this.

California Electricity Crisis. They studied it first as a risk. Then they went quiet about it as it became the inspiration for their energy policy. That happened on Ed Miliband's watch at the then new Department of Energy and Climate Change. order-order.com/2026/10/22/e…

So 80s & 90s immigrants. You moved to more functional states, order, rule of law, to get away from all the arseholes. 2000s - "Ha, psych!"

The cultural and economic disparities across Europe are so diverse and broad that the EU operating as a single country is going to require some very ugly authoritarian measures. Taking from the haves to bribe the have knives will no go well. Taking the knives will go worse.
