This + @neuralink ? Hmmm interesting.
We’ve raised $1.3M from YC & Afore Capital so you never have to type or speak again.
Typing is slow. Talking into your computer is awkward. Subvocal fixes both
Our glasses give you the speed of speech without you making a sound or touching a keyboard.
It tracks your internal speech muscles with non-contact sensing and decodes silent, almost invisible mouthing into text at more than 200 words/min.

Sometimes its ok admitting you're not the best person for the job and hand it to the person that is.
I'm a finance person, not a software engineer. But like a lot of people, I got pulled into vibe coding.
The first thing I built was a tool to prepare financial statements for my own clients.
That tool became @preparerpro . Here's the story
It worked, to a point. But once I wanted to put it in front of companies outside my firm, the bar changed. So I brought on a CTO.
His first verdict: "What you have is about 60% there. We're rebuilding it." I mean that was abit hard to hear but guess I know what I know and I know what I don't know, so I handed over the reigns to him. We've spent the last few months doing exactly that.
The biggest decision: AI doesn't do the maths. The engine handles everything that has to be exact: balances, casting, tie-outs between the statements, and comparatives. Same inputs, same answer, every time.
AI handles the work that needs language and pattern recognition: mapping a new chart of accounts, drafting accounting policy notes, and flagging disclosures that look missing. A person reviews every AI suggestion before it reaches the statements.
Why that matters: management accounts, interim statements and audited FS all have stakeholders who need to trust every number and every disclosure. The goal is to cut preparation from weeks to minutes, without cutting corners.
We're launching with IFRS, built on the licensed standards. US GAAP and IPSAS are next.
With IFRS 18 arriving in January 2027, we're also building a transition engine to help companies move across with confidence.
We're back in testing and getting ready to let the first people off the waitlist.
If you're a listed or private company, or have a practice preparing statements for clients, join the waitlist.

Putting this out there in the universe and hopefully it rewards me. So I am planning the 2nd staging of the Caribbean CFO Summit (caribbeancfosummit.com) for next year April under the theme "The CFO in a World That Won't Stand Still" and I would love to have the CFOs of @AnthropicAI and @OpenAI as keynote speakers Day 1 and Day 2. I am sure our Caribbean CFOs would value such presentations.

So the beverage in a Starbucks Venti can hold comfortably in a Grande?? So the cup size is just an illusion to upcharge?
The recent move by the government to cut spending is one of the main reasons why revenue concentration must be managed accordingly by companies.
It's great to have the government as a client because once there is a signed contract you know you are getting paid.
But, in this situation when they decide to cut back but cover 80% of your revenue, your business automatically crumbles.
Peace times are great; cash is flowing and everyone is happy but always be prepared for times of war.
