Too many kids think putting the time in 100% between Dec & Feb is enough. What are you doing between March thru November? Everything is earned nothing given. If you’re the same player you were last Feb you are probably being passed by. 4 weeks & your game will reveal the answer

“Don’t confuse your role with your value. Championship players don’t count minutes; they make their minutes count. A good teammate will never be defined by their role. A good teammate will be defined by their willingness to excel in that role.” ~The Winning Difference

I'll say it again: Duke's second group of 5 could be a back end Top 25 team.
Blue Devils by THIRTY NINE over Tennessee without Caleb Foster and Drew Scharnowski.
A very alarming 80 minutes of exhibition basketball by the Vols the last two weeks.

Really wanna shout my guy out for any coaches still looking for a guy this cycle. The film and the numbers speak for themselves, but I can’t say enough about his leadership and intangibles as well.

Offensive Rebounding is not hard to TEACH.
It’s hard to ENFORCE.
It’s tedious. It’s physical. It’s awareness driven. You have to sprint full speed and escape contact. You have to read angles. You have to sprint back after the attempt.
You have to DEMAND it every POSSESSION !

Joe Mazzulla on reports of the Celtics vibes being high at training camp
"Every team you lead is the most together team right now. Because we haven't traveled. No one's gotten benched. No one's been on a losing streak. No one's gotten blamed in the media. No one's had to go stand in the corner for 10 minutes and not get the ball. So, you learn those things as the season goes on, and you just learn how to work through those things together. And you can't simulate those. It just comes with time. And so, right now I would say all 30 teams feel great about themselves, and we got to wait till adversity hits. And adversity is even a strong word. There's nothing really adverse about playing in the NBA. But we got to wait until stuff doesn't go your way, and then you got to figure out who we are and how we're going to be at our best."
