Literally chose the worst possible solution
After a weekend of nonstop frantic discussions and negotiation, Game 6 of the WNBA Finals will be played Thursday at 12:30 pm at 17,000-seat State Farm Arena in Atlanta, sources told ESPN.
The Atlanta Hawks-Cleveland Cavaliers game that night will move back to 8 pm to accommodate the doubleheader, just as the Hawks did for Game 4. This allows a potential Game 7 to remain scheduled for Halloween at Chase Center in San Francisco.
All three Finals games in Atlanta have required hurried adjustments to the schedule at State Farm Arena. It took collective efforts from the WNBA, NBA, the Hawks, State Farm Arena, Dream, Valkyries and broadcast partners to figure out the best course of action again.
By moving the game earlier in the day, the WNBA avoided a scenario where a potential championship game was played inside the Dream’s home arena, the 3,500 seat Gateway Center.
The other option under strong consideration was moving Game 6 to an open date at State Farm Arena on Friday and Game 7 to an open date at Chase Center on Tuesday, November 3.

and to go even deeper, IF a championship is won, the winning franchise can’t even celebrate long on the court or in the locker room, because the employees of state farm arena gotta change it to the hawks court and clean the locker rooms after 🥲

They chose the stupidest possible option. Make the game inaccessible to hundreds of thousands of people to get 9,000 more people in the arena lmao
WNBA Finals Game 6 will be played Thursday at 12:30 p.m. ET at State Farm Arena, per @ramonashelburne.
It’s the truth
Demarcus Cousins says Bam Adebayo needs to be the most AGGRESSIVE version of himself to make the Giannis pairing work, and sometimes Giannis’ style might take away from others:
“We need Bam to be the most aggressive version of himself for this to work. Playing hesitant, thinking with every catch, we need you to be in go mode… I see a lot of hesitation in Bam’s game. He’s also going to have to figure out that 3 ball. We gonna need maybe 5/6/7 3s a game from him… it’s also a very tough dynamic because everybody in the world knows when Giannis has the ball in his hands, he’s one of the most dangerous players in this league. You want to make sure the ball is in his hands but that also takes away from the other guys on the floor when the ball is ALWAYS in his hands”
