I stand with UGC creators who did nothing wrong. Tags are regularly copied and pasted, and those words inherently do not include anything bad. Putting tags like “shit” should be ban worthy. Not normal words like “doll”. I would rather have “less safety” than this be ban worthy

I guess letting English words like Doll and Dollhouse forever be associated with predators is ok. Normal words are ban worthy now. “Safety” is the most dystopian way to justify banning words. Also, plenty of normal people buy things with that tag. Not everyone using it is bad.

More reasons why epic games is shit! If declaring that a game was made by or assisted with generative AI could kill off the game, that's a good thing. It shows what people really want and keeps games transparent to players.

The Epic Games CEO called the policy “abhorrent,” arguing that developers are being forced to make a “political statement” that could be used against them by a “hate mob.” Sweeney has been criticizing the policy since 2025, previously comparing the disclosure to a “Scarlet Letter” and arguing that AI will eventually be part of almost every game production process.
