because as a community we have come together to build the sort of society that is organized in order to truly love, manaaki and care for all our people. Ending homelessness is totally possible in Aotearoa, we can do it, and together, we will. #LoveIsTheWay #EndYouthHomelessness

The room has earmuffs on. A sign of privilege.
Again for everyone at the back - it’s not a human right if we have to pay for it. If we’re paying for our basic rights to life they’re not rights anymore, they’re a privilege.

Don’t forget from May 1st the govt will cut free public transport for kids & the half price for under 25’s, as part of wide ranging cuts to services to pay for tax cuts. For thousands of Auckland families & thousands of young people the added cost to pay for public transport..🧵

Hi everyone, what do you think is happening here? This government is preparing the public service for a level of cost-cutting and privatisation that we haven't seen since the 80s. There is almost no other conclusion to reach at this point. People need to start getting serious.

He knows and he does not care Screw him and his stinking prosperity doctrine….
This is all we needed to know. Add these children to the ones that will lose their emergency housing and the picture is very bleak. Same with beneficiaries, the children are being punished.

This govt is doing the most to pull our communities apart so they can over-police (some already are) them. We have to do the most to ensure we remain in solidarity with each other so they don’t ride in on a 2nd term under the guise of ‘keeping our communities safe’ zzz

On Tuesday, submissions close for the Ram Raids Bill. This bill was introduced to prevent Ram Raids from occurring. A problem the bill itself is not equipped to solve.
