With deep regret, we're announcing that APIPit will be on hiatus from 2024 onwards. Because Twitter has grown far from ideal for pitch events with the bots stealing pitches and messy algorithm, we have decided it is best to pause APIPit until we've found a better alternative.

It is just after 8 PM EDT now, so it's a wrap! 🥳 Thank you to all who participated in #APIPit this year. Remember, creators: if an agent or editor requested, you can submit to them *on your own timeline.* Huge shoutout to our co-founders to making this happen! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

Thank you for joining us, Rebecca! 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Completed manuscripts for fiction, please. Nonfiction typically can be pitched via proposal. - Joanne

Pitch using the hashtag # APIPit!

We're less than 12 hours away from the third annual #APIPit! Get your pitching muscles ready, creators! And colleagues: please remember that "liking" should only be reserved for agents/editors. Thank you! Founders will be on standby all day for Qs; please feel free to DM!

Hi Jenn! Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Reading this, I can understand the confusion, and we're sorry for the misunderstanding. We'll make sure to clarify this rule for future pitch contests.
