I understand why people are unhappy with the cut VGen takes. But honestly, I can actually see where that money goes. Their support team is pretty active and seems to work well. Compared to other platforms, VGen has no AI-generated content and, from what I’ve seen, one of the lowest rates of scams.
VGen is also just comfortable to use overall. Is the cut high?-Absolutely. But can I see where my money is going?-Yes.
This is just my personal opinion, of course 🤷♀️

Looking for Artists on @Drawmarket_
As most of you already know, I'm going to be making in-depth reviews of the different commission platforms.
With this I will also be commissioning different artists from these platforms. If you are currently on drawmarket, please drop your link below! I will be choosing a few artists over the next couple weeks to work with. (We love Skebs, but any type of commissions are welcome!)

I am gathering feedback on platform fees, payout rules, ease of use, order tracking, payment safety, and how sites handle AI policies and reporting. There is also space to share direct bug reports or suggestions you want passed along to platform developers.
Whether your time on a platform was smooth or frustrating, sharing your experience will help shape these public reviews and point the community toward fair, safe spaces.

Wrong!!!!!!! It's about position. Basically who's top and bottom and how the energy feeds!!!! Succubi tend to be the bottom (lie beneath) hence why it's associated with females whereas incubi are tops (lie upon) and hence given the male roles.

Tim Sweeney is taking another shot at Steam.
The Epic Games CEO claims Valve has “held gaming back for years” by locking PC games into Steamworks’ ecosystem.
Sweeney argues that Steam’s social features make it harder for players on PC to communicate cross-platform while also criticizing Steam’s 30% cut.
However, that claim isn’t completely accurate. Valve’s Steam Datagram Relay can also be used across other platforms.

Last week I asked for suggestions on alternative platforms for art commissions, and I appreciate everyone who chimed in.
Over the next couple of months, I’m going to spend time properly looking into these options. My plan is to explore how each platform works, talk to artists and clients who regularly use them, and hire an artist or two on each site to test out the full process firsthand. Once I have a clear picture, I’ll post a thorough public review sharing my thoughts on usability, payment safety, platform fees, and overall experience.
My hope is to help highlight fair, reliable spaces that genuinely support independent artists and commissioners.
I’ll be listing the suggested platforms in the replies below. If you are an artist actively taking commissions on one of those sites, feel free to drop your profile link under the corresponding comment!
