Hi all! I’m on the train back from Derby now. It was such a magical event, I met incredible people and I met the level designer behind Tomb Raider 3. I was told a lot about London. Apparently the key on top of the drill in Aldwych wasn’t supposed to be there and was supposed to be in a safety deposit box. Which is why that key is placed so weirdly. Luds Gate was supposed to be twice as long with the level continuing from the bit at the end with the giant shaft where you jump across to end the level All Hallows was supposed to start after sliding down the slope near the bell that hit the guy in Thames Wharf. The person who made Tomb Raider 3 Aldwych said that he accidentally put the wrong colours on the railway tracks which is why the red and the green are mixed up on the track when the train comes. In Aldwych where you put in the Solomon Keys there was supposed to be a puzzle which is why there are moving plinths above each key. Also the masonic hammer was supposed to be used in the puzzle and not on a random door. In Aldwych the reason why there is a random pit of water before the masonic section is because they wanted to stop any enemies following you as water kills the enemies. Really interesting facts there. 😄
