Piracy is a service based problem as Gabe Newell always said. Games like Cyberpunk are so easy to pirate as the game literally requires 0 DRM. You could download the game to a thumb drive and give it to anyone. The game still sold millions on PC. More than the consoles combined.

Sony shut it down years ago and the PS4 Collection removed it completely. Now itโs playable again in my PC port:

It's just unbelievable how much has happened in the span OF ONLY 6 DAYS:
October 22: Switch 2 exploit is published
October 23: first proof-of-concept homebrew released
October 24: first ROMs dumped
October 25: ROM dumper publicly released for everyone
October 26: first Switch 2 game recomp (MK World) running on macOS
October 27: first Switch 2 emulator proof-of-concept shown, Mario Kart World ported to iPhone, recomps of Pokรฉmon Pokopia, Fire Emblem Fortunes Weave, DK Bananza for PC
We expect within the next few days the emulator and recomp tools will be released publicly.

Uncharted 2's multiplayer was still inside the Nathan Drake Collection ๐คฏ
Porting it to PC, I found the co-op and competitive maps in the game files, plus Naughty Dog's online code. Only the network part was cut.
Bringing it back now, work in progress.

That parallel isn't even fully realistic because car enthusiasts will buy Ferrari's for example and multiple people I've seen would tell you they aren't reliable cars. lol You'd get much better reliability out of Toyota Camry (consoles) but people would still prefer a Ferrari.
PC gamers are the only people that see troubleshooting as good part of the product.
Car enthusiasts who build cars see when a car has issue, itโs an absolute bad thing and any car brand that is known for having issues are considered trash brands and not something to glorify.
But leave it to PC gamers to actually see issues as a badge of honor ti deal.
God forbid people advocate for products to work.
