This fundraiser touches our hearts. Thank you so much to all of the local artists who donated their work to raise funds for our Capital Campaign. Guelph is awesome!

Métis artist Kenneth Lavallee's mural along Wilson Street in #downtownguelph is called "Cultivation." The artist was inspired by local Indigenous history, specifically the Attawandaron, whose territory was described as a 'community of longhouses surrounded by fields of corn."

Saturday's @TAAGuelph townhall looks at transit. Specifically, missing links between Guelph and places like Elora or Hamilton. Why have we lost these links just when it seems we need them the most? Transit advocate @Sean_YYZ joins me @CBCKW891 tomorrow morning at 710.

We have a process for making these types of decisions as a city. An important process that promotes transparency & engagement with affected residents. I believe it should be followed in a clear & equitable way. Especially on important issues such as this. guelphtoday.com/local-news/c…

Let’s do this #Guelph! Thanks to #GUFF and our @cityofguelph staff along with many other stakeholders in our city who help with our urban forest! My hope is that we get planting soon! Read up on the work being done here in Guelph, not just my idea!

In case I’m not the only driver who didn’t know: the province is sending “courtesy” reminders to renew your license sticker on your birthday TO RANDOM PEOPLE - no longer mandatory notices to all drivers. It’s up to us grownups to remember now. Note / my birthday was not today...

I endured this over & over again in grade 7&8. Pulled into the bathroom, beat up, said they’d hurt me more if I “told on them”. I’m still not 100% over what they did to me. Please, don’t bully, physically or verbally & may kids have the courage to stand up to this. #BullyingSucks

I’m loving that municipalities are clearing a zoning path for these properties. Especially proud that @DanCarterOshawa has the same vision here in Oshawa. Hope other Durham municipalities are working on this as well. It is a viable solution to affordable housing.
Bring on the #TinyHomes to #Guelph!! New zoning rules allow tiny houses, granny flats throughout Kitchener: therecord.com/news-story/966…

And another one. 106km/h (locked at 104) in a 50km/h zone - Victoria Rd S at York Rd. Risking lives because you’re “Late for work” is absolutely absurd. Licence and vehicle seized for 7 days. Charged - No Insurance as well. This menace is off the road.

Communities of faith can turn the tide of election results. A concentrated commitment to eradicating poverty and securing rights for refugees will produce a society where only those dedicated to the same causes will ever be voted in. #cdnpoli #Election2019 cpj.ca/election-concerns
