Today, in partnership with @KvinnaKvinnaINT, at @UnivOfKigali in @Gasabo_District, we continued the #16DaysOfActivism awareness campaign, giving students first-hand insights on GBV, its forms, especially digital violence, and the steps they can take when they encounter it.
In partnership with @KvinnaKvinnaINT & @NyagatareDistr we were at Rukomo Secondary School as a part of our #16DaysOfActivism awareness campaign. Students were taught the different forms of GBV, how to prevent it within their families & where to report any incidents they may face.
In partnership with @KvinnaKvinnaINT, our #16DaysOfActivism awareness campaign continued in @MusanzeDistrict, MIPC. Students learned about GBV, its different forms when, how & where to report it. Together, we’re building safer communities & empowering young people to speak out.

Today, our Executive Director represented Helping Heart Family Rwanda at the National Colloquium on Victim Protection and the Establishment of Specialized GBV Chambers, organized by @certafoundation in partnership with @KvinnaKvinnaINT at Hôtel des Mille Collines, Kigali.
This important event brought together justice sector actors, government institutions, civil society, and development partners to discuss how Rwanda can strengthen access to justice and accountability for GBV survivors.
We were honored to share insights from our initiative “Ubutabera Buhera mu Muryango (Justice Begins at Home)”, we use community dialogues and legal awareness campaigns to help families understand the law, know their rights, and become agents of positive change.
Establishing a Specialized GBV Chamber is a crucial step toward ensuring that victims receive justice with dignity, empathy, and protection.
