We didn't get the best news today at a doctors visit. Surgery #3 coming for my Babydoll(wifey). She looked at me and said God has been building me for this, And thank goodness its on a bye week so Nicholas doesn't have game 🙄 No blink! No doubt! No fear! Just Jesus! Its humbling to watch. It doesn't mean I'm not scared as hail, but man the Peace of God is incredible. My Babydolls favorite verse is 2 Corinthians 12:9–10, "But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong." She is weak right now, but our God isnt. If you are the praying type we will take em all.

Young QB’s If your limited in arm strength but really dialed in to what your looking at, as well as the rhythm and timing the concept or the throw requires… then you can be a 250M$ QB. Train your brain, eyes and feet, more than you train for arm strength

Von Miller reveals after Texas A&M coach Mike Sherman suspended him, he packed everything he owned into his truck and started driving to Florida to transfer, when he called his he dad told him not to quit, so he turned around and led the nation with 17.5 sacks the next season “I had everything I owned in this blanket, and I went to my car. I threw it in the back and I’m driving home. I called my daddy. I’m like, ‘Daddy, man, I’m leaving. Coach Sherman kicked me off the team. I ain’t coming back until I do this and that.’” “I’m thinking my dad is going, ‘All right, we’re going to find something else.’ He said, ‘Pull that truck over, turn around, and go back to school. You’re not quitting.’” “I was like, ‘That was not the answer I was looking for.’ He was like, ‘You’re not just about to quit when it gets hard. You’re going to turn that truck back around. You’re going to go back to school and you’re going to fix it.’” “I had tears going down my face. I was like, ‘Man, this is going to be so hard to fix all of this.’ I turned around. We had a meeting. Coach Sherman told my dad the exact same thing that he told me, and my dad agreed with Coach Sherman.” “There was nowhere I could go. I just had to face the music. I had to face the truth. That spring was a hard one, but I got my grades up. I made it to all my classes. I went through the checklist of everything Coach Sherman wanted me to do.” “That following year, my junior year, was the best year that I had up until that day. I led the nation in sacks. I had 17 and a half sacks. My life had totally changed. That was all a testament to running straight through the storm. The shortest way through the storm is straight. I put my head down and I worked, and my life totally changed that offseason.”

Man breaks down in tears after his wife and daughter were killed by lightning in Florida. Kenya Glasgow, 31, and her 2-year-old daughter were found on the sidewalk in Margate, Florida. "It's gonna be tough to lose somebody that I've been with for half my life. It's just gonna be tough, but I'll be okay, because I have to be, because I have another beautiful daughter that's inside..." Heartbreaking.

Pain becomes part of the job. Former NFL CB Brian Jones reflects on how football conditions players to live with constant physical and mental strain, often silently. Behind the game is a reality many athletes carry: resilience, pressure, and unseen battles that don’t show up on the stat sheet. Even when it feels isolating, these experiences are more common than they seem. #MentalHealthInSports #AthleteMindset @JonesN4mo

Your definition of “high skill” is too narrow. Football is a strength & power sport. Those traits are the engine behind the skill — which is why the Eagles can make this pick — will it work, 🤷🏾‍♂️ Basketball isn’t built the same way — which is why an elite HS player can jump to the NBA. That jump does not exist in football. Not because of skill — but because the physical engine isn’t developed yet. High skill doesn’t operate in a vacuum. It’s supported by the traits the sport demands. That’s why elite sprinters can transition to bobsleigh — different sports, same engine — both highly skilled. Elite football players are highly skilled. So are elite basketball players. But the foundation of that skill is not the same — both high skill — just different motors.
When I say football isn’t a high skilled sport this is exactly what I mean. Dude has never played football before and got drafted. You have to be extremely athletic and strong but nobody is drafting someone in the NBA who has never played basketball before. Too much skill in 🏀

Too many people have access to talk about the game of football that are SOFT! They don't understand the grind. They don't culture. They don't understand accountability. It's more than one way to skin a cat.

Fun fact. Arkansas QB Matt Jones was 6'6"/242 lbs, ran a 4.37 forty and had a 39.5" vertical leap, which were similar to Calvin Johnson's combine numbers. The Jaguars drafted him in the 1st round (21st overall) in the 2005 NFL Draft and switched him to WR.

Stop trying to make your kids professional athletes and chasing the lights. Make them sports professionals. Leadership, business management, and becoming an expert in the sport they love so they can have a career making $600k- $10M per year. Playing sports is a JOB not career
