Incredible win for our program last night! All three phases stepped up huge. A Kick Return TD by our Soph. @ChaseCleverley, a pick-6 by our Jr, Dom Medley, and offensive touchdowns by our Fr. QB, Benton Mansfield, Jr. RB Malachi Hatfield and Sr. WR @_PeytonRoot. Great win!

Interesting fact: A high school football game has 48 minutes on the clock. But a study found the average play lasts just 5.6 seconds. At 130 plays, that’s roughly 12 minutes of actual action between BOTH teams. Months in the weight room. Summer heat. Film. Practice. All for opportunities measured in literal seconds. And you don’t know which 5.6 seconds will decide the game. That backside block you took off? The pursuit you cut short because somebody else would get him? That might’ve been it.

This is why you don’t look back for the ball when you’re out of phase. Keep a full sprint through the hands. Beautiful play!! #DBplay

Daylen Everette with one of the GREATEST recoveries you’ll ever see from a corner. The Steelers rookie CB has made replacing Joey Porter Jr. LOOK EASY so far 😳🔒

Parents, your son's head coach gets calls from college coaches during the season When that call comes, the college coach is not asking about stats He is asking what kind of kid your son is. How he handles adversity. Whether the team respects him. If he shows up every day or just on game nights. That phone call can open a door or close one

After losing in the 2010 state title game, Centennial's once-prominent football program seemingly vanished overnight. In the 15 years that followed, the Patriots have posted a 26-105 record and zero winning seasons. This season - they're back in the 5A conference, hopeful to write a new chapter and resurrect a powerhouse program. #hsfootball #IdahoFB #maxpreps
