让印度人深度融入中国产业链是根本不可能的，除非莫迪下台。因为莫迪的很多经济政策并非基于经济理性，而是政治理性。莫迪在经济上的一个重要思想就是Atmanirbhar Bharat，这个政策的起源是2020年初疫情期间的供应链断供，让莫迪政府看到了依赖中国的可能后果。再加上当时美欧国家搞供应链脱钩，印度又急需拉动制造业创造就业，因此莫迪自信的认为天时地利人和都在印度这边，印度就是下一个中国。到6月份加勒万河谷事件，基本上让印度人把这个政策实锤了。
结果发现，这个政策实施的并不好。目前能体现Atmanirbhar Bharat政策的大致在两个领域，一个是PLI计划，一个是国防制造领域。PLI计划几乎所有的14个行业表现的都不怎么好。电子产品组装的推进远远慢于预期，他解决的问题其实是散件进口代替了整机进口。仿制药与电子产品组装类似。传统的汽车和汽车零配件还行，但是现在电动汽车行业起来了。特种钢、无人机、医疗器械、锂电池、光伏产品表现就更差了。而国防自造政策实施效果也不好，其实也是组装，用印度一些国防专家的话说就是“打螺丝”，进口散件进行组装。我也是第一次知道，印度人是将散件组装分为CDK和SDK的，前者是全散件，后者是半散件。能把散件进口分成两个大类也只有长期严重依赖进口的国家能够做到。
久而久之，Atmanirbhar Bharat政策就承担了莫迪政府太多的期望，每一个都是敏感点：制造业雄心、就业、对抗中国、独立自主、经济和技术大国。这种敏感点让莫迪又不敢轻易的取消这个政策，取消就意味着失败。当然，按照莫迪的套路，他想赶紧把这段不光彩的政策掩盖过去，但是他又提不出来更宏大、更能吸引人眼球的经济政策。最后就卡在那儿了。所以，我的结论很简单，只要莫迪是印度总理，他就不可能加深对华经济依赖。如果事实上加深了，那也是极为不情愿的。

Bangalore-Bellary-Hyderabad is more lucrative than any of the towns inside Andhra.
The Union destroyed JK because the overwhelming Hindu majority stood behind the decision.
But this won't happen for linguistic states. The Union cannot destroy a linguistic state and merge with other states of a different language.
You can may be split a larger state to smaller one but the linguistic character will still remain.
Indian Union is based solely on Hindu religion. The land of Bharat is a sacred land for all Hindus. That's why we are a Union.
The Unity does not mean languages can be subsumed. That won't happen. OTOH, you can set an example by making one of the smaller north indian state like UK/HP adopt sanskrit as an offical langauge of the state. Try and see if it's successful. Imposing a new langauge is equivalent of breaking an existing state. See if you succeed.

The lack of political heft of south basically comes from lack of fluency of Hindi.
Take Gujarat or Maharashtra. Politicians can easily switch between local and Hindi and strade across the state & national politics.
For southern politicians, Hindi is a difficult thing to swallow so they never get into the national roles as equals.
That's a big negative for southern politicians which in turn diminishes the goodies south can get and fuels resentment.
